White City
About our school

A 5000-square-foot facility, at 7455 Crater Lake Highway, White City OR 97503, is home to Kids Unlimited Academy of White City with classes for kindergarten through second grade. Our food program is independently supported on site through an industrial kitchen. This location features a sprawling, brand-new, outdoor playground with a soft, rubberized ground surface for safe play.

From our Director of Educational Services

Welcome new and returning families to Kids Unlimited Academy! Thank you for trusting KUA with your student’s education.

The KUA teachers, support staff and administration team are looking forward to a new year full of learning, growing and exploring together. Here at KUA, we believe every student belongs, and we strive to ensure students and families feel safe, valued and accepted. We are committed to meeting the unique learning needs of your child from engaging rigorous instruction to socio-emotional needs.

Our mission is to empower students through opportunity, and our goal is to help children and families overcome the barriers they face, preparing them to thrive socially, emotionally and academically. Together we are better and can accomplish our mission.

KUA continues to evolve in various capacities toward the needs of our school. As we experienced growth, we recognized a number of challenges inherent to a large organization. We have many returning teachers and staff and, at the same time, a handful of new faces that have been in school throughout the summer to prepare classrooms for our new school year. I would like to recognize our amazing custodian Juana Cortes, front office staff Nora Zamores and Brenda Anaya and kitchen staff for all their hard work to get our school in tip-top shape.

This school year will be our second with an extended yearlong calendar. For the 2023-2024 school year, will launch a Family Compact Agreement to create stronger student, parent/guardian and school partnerships!

Let’s make this school year the best one yet!

From our teachers

A second grade teacher at KUA’s White City campus, Jadyn Bass-Gouge loves watching children learn and grow. “Breaking down barriers and giving students equitable educational experiences that support their success was my dream when I entered the field of education,” she said.

Jadyn’s favorite part about teaching is getting to know the students. “One of the most wonderful things about teaching, in my opinion, is teaching to love learning and the experience each opportunity brings us,” she said.

Her favorite part about working at KUA is: “our mission we have for our students and extended families and community. Working at KUA is truly a dream for me.”

When Jadyn is not teaching, she is painting, spending time with loved ones and drinking coffee at a local coffeeshop.

Ricardo Rangel-Botello! Ricardo, a kindergarten teacher at our White City campus, has been with KUA for four years.

While his favorite part about working at KUA is the culture and creating an inclusive classroom environment, Ricardo loves teaching for “how much children can grow and change over the course of a school year. Even more impressive is that as an educator I play a huge part in helping children develop their minds, personalities and imaginations.

When Ricardo is not teaching, he is traveling to learn and interact with different cultures and traditions.
