KUA’s Medford drop-off and pickup times have changed for the 2023-24 school year.
School starts in Medford at 8:30 a.m. with drop-off beginning at 7:30 a.m. for our morning enrichment block and breakfast service. For 50 minutes every morning, students can participate in math, literacy and STEAM games and activities with the goals of classroom readiness and socio-emotional development. Breakfast is served during morning enrichment.
Students have the option to attend morning enrichment, but we strongly encourage their early arrival for the school day. Any students arriving after 8:30 a.m. will be marked tardy.
Drop-off in Medford is 7:30-8:30 a.m. in the alleyway indicated on our transportation map. Late arrivals must be dropped off in the office. White City’s school start time is 8 a.m. with students dropped off at the front door.
Pickup in Medford is 3:30 p.m. for students not enrolled in afterschool enrichment. Pickup will be in the alleyway for grades K-3. Families with students in grades 4-8 may pick up on Edwards Street in the bus lane. Please see our pickup/drop-off map. White City families pick up students at 3 p.m. at the front door in the pickup line, or by parking and walking up.
For afterschool enrichment students, pickup at both campuses is 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the alleyway only (no Edwards Street pickup). Buses depart Medford at 4:45 p.m. White City families pick up students in the drive-up line. Families picking up in Medford between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m., must park and come into the office.
